Stress can have an incredibly negative impact on both your emotional and physical well-being. There are many events that can trigger stress and certainly going through a divorce is one such event. A divorce can provide stress on two different fronts.

Or, if you have been away from the workforce during your marriage you may be afraid that you won’t be able to get a decent job. And you may be fretting over the outcome of the final settlement in regard to property division, child support, alimony and child custody.
There is no question that if you are going through a divorce, you have good reason to be feeling apprehensive, tense and stressed out. But you may find that some of your fears can be allayed by speaking with a family law attorney.
The attorney could outline the manner in which the divorce process will progress, which may help to decrease the amount of time you spend worrying. In addition, the attorney may be able to get you set up with counselors with whom you can discuss your feelings, which could also help to provide you with a measure of emotional relief.
